Adult Paddlesport Proficient (SUP only) - British Canoeing SUP Sheltered Water Award (16yrs+)
This course will give you an understanding of how to plan and paddle an enjoyable and safe trip on a Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP). You will be able to journey in water upto 200 metres from the shore and up to force 3 winds.
Working towards: British Canoeing Stand Up Paddleboarding Sheltered Water Award
Pre-requisite: To get best from the course participants are advised to be of comfortable independent paddling level on stand up paddleboard and able support/assist other paddlers (equivalent to: British Canoeing Explore Award level).
This course is completed on Stand Up Paddleboard
Course is suitable for those wishing to build on their existing SUP skills so to plan their own SUP adventures or prepare for British Canoeing Instructor/Coach qualifications
Centre can provide Boards/Paddles/Wetsuits if needed
Cost includes British Canoeing Certification fees. If a current British Canoeing (or home nation) member please ensure to provide assessor with membership number so award updates directly to membership profile.
