Adult Paddlesport Improver (Kayak, Canoe or SUP) - British Canoeing Explore Award (16 yrs+)
This course is ideal for those wishing to further develop their existing paddling skills, become more independent on the water, plan basic paddling journeys and stay safe on the water.
This course can be completed on any of: open canoe, kayak (sit-on-top or sit-in) or stand up paddleboard
Working towards British Canoeing Explore Award. Content includes: Preparing for paddling sessions, venue choice, paddling environment, practical paddling skills, staying safe and future development.
In this Award you will take ownership of your own decisions and learn to make confident choices, based on the places you paddle, wind and weather.
Next steps: Personal Performance Awards, Paddlesport Safety & Recue Training and Paddlesport Instructor
