BIG NORFOLK HOLIDAY FUN. Improver Sailing Double Handers - up to Stage 4 (11-16yrs)

NOTE: Age - 11-16yrs,
Pre-requisite: Must have RYA Stage 3.
Course focuses on transferring the skills gained in single hander’s to double handed craft. Using double handed dinghies you will take the rolls of helm and crew and the importance of communication and teamwork will be emphasised.
Content: Transferring RYA Stage 3 skills, techniques and manoeuvres to sail crewed/double hander boats, enhance rigging, launching/recovering the boat in different circumstances. Stopping, reducing sail, recovering a man overboard, picking up a mooring and anchoring.
Where possible working towards RYA Stage 4 and/or Dinghy Seamanship Skills
