Whitlingham Adventure After-School Club

Activity sessions running at Whitlingham Adventure early evenings during term-time.
For beginners and novices; combining fun and learning new skills.

Sessions/activities are for KS2 children only (school yrs 3-6) - Children who are only 7yr olds must have an adult present (Ofsted childcare requirement).

Instructor led sessions that can cover skill development such as: Water confidence, understanding of watersport clothing and equipment (including buoyancy aids), introduction to paddling watercraft, introduction to sailing dinghies and sailing.

Sessions do not include accreditation/certificates, but participants may wish to progress from these sessions onto accredited courses such as: Start Sailing - up to Stage 2 or Paddlesport Week, 

Notes
Please bring closed-toe footwear that can get wet, change of clothes and towel in case of getting wet.

If transport from St Francis of Assisi needed:

• Contact PTFA regarding parents shared shuttle (7yr olds must have an adult present)
• Parent/Guardian collection is needed from Whitlingham Adventure at session end. Directions to nearest parking (country park offers a 25min free collection period)
• If parent shared shuttle is being used, please inform the school which adult will collecting
